Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA)

As a Supporter Engagement Officer at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) my role is as frontline fundraising and community role that ensures the charity can continue delivering its life-saving service. This includes

Community outreach: Builds strong relationships with local supporters, schools, clubs, and community groups, Fundraising support: Helps individuals and organisations plan events, challenges, and campaigns to raise money. Volunteer coordination: Work closely with volunteers who represent the charity at events and talks, Corporate partnerships: Engages businesses to support through sponsorships, payroll giving, or charity-of-the-year partnerships and help achieve their CSR objectives, Events & campaigns: Organise and promote fundraising events, ensuring they run smoothly and maximize impact.

I also lead on the Skills for Life, CPR and Defib Training courses, which so far has reached over 3500 people across our local areas. As a free training course, its something that I am really passionate about and wanting as many of the local community to know how to respond in a critical situation.
